Anal play with sex worker's toy

A couple weeks ago I attended a massage parlor in Mexico. The "masseuse" was using a small plastic toy (a handle with four small spheres at the end) to massage my back and legs. After a while she started using the toy on the outside of my anus and she eventually inserted one of the little spheres.

After we were done she went out to clean the toy, but that made me wonder how clean could it get. As far as I can tell she just uses water and soap on it, and it freaked me out a little.

I know that the rest of our activities (manual stimulation to climax) were virtually risk-free, but should I be worried about the anal play? What kind of tests should I get done and when?

No you should not worry, just soap and water is fine to clean it and anything possible from the last customer would have been dead by the time it reached you.
