Antibiotic Side effects ?
I took a large dose of Zithromax for Chlamydia, and I've had diarrhea almost every day since taking it. Is that a normal side effect ? They said I'd most likely experience some digestive system problems, but they did'nt mention specifically which problems I'd have.
My diarrhea has been gone a few days now. I drank a lot of juices and some water, to help with the dehydration. My urine test came back positive for Chlamydia, so my girlfriend just got the treatment pills too a few days ago. I'm pretty sure we can be sexual again, at least I hope so. We're gonna be careful for another week or so though to be sure.
Zithromax can cause digestive issues. How long did you have diarrhea for and are you still having diarrhea? I'd suggesting drinking a lot of water...5 or more bottles per day.
