Anxiety is Killing Me!!

Anxiety is Killing Me!!

Hi Doc, I am writing to you from Singapore. Please help me out. Here is my story. My last exposure was on 9th May 2005 (Oral sex with condom). Since then, i have been tested for VDRL/RPR on the 2,8,10,13,15.5,19.5,24 & finally VDRL & TPHA on the 26 weeks. All were negative. Is it conclusive enough?? Also i have been tested for HIV (rapid test) on the 6,8,12,14,16 & 18.5weeks. All were negative. I also done the Elisa test at the Dermetologist/STD Specilist office on the 11,24 & 26weeks and all were negative too. Beside these, I was also given Ciproflaxocin 500mg twice a day for 7 days on the 5th week after the exposure, I then proceed to test for Gonorrhea(Swab) & Chlamydia(PCR) on the 7th week & another Chlamydia(Swab)test on the 17th weeks after the exposure. All came back NEGATIVE.
My concern is , with the above testings, is it enough to conclude that i am not infected with HIV,Syphlis,Gonorrhea & Chlamydia??? I was told by the GP NOT THE Dermetologist that according to the Literature, some cases of Syphlis can only be detected after 9 MONTHS. Is it TRUE??? I am very CONFUSE!! Also, Can i safetly resume unprotected sex with my wife NOW?? Can i safetly start to plan for a baby NOW?? Sorry for the long posting. Looking forward for your reply ASAP. Thank you very much

You have been tested far more often and more intensively than necessary, or than recommended by any experts.  It is not true that syphilis blood test ever takes 9 months to be positive.  Further, oral sex with condom is totally safe sex; it would have been impossible to acquire syphilis or any STD.  You are not infected.

Please no follow up questions.  There is no additional information you can provide that would change my advice.  I will not respond further.
