Anyone experience this?

Hello. Around July I noticed that it was starting to hurt when I peed and also noticed a tiny bump near the opening of my penis. I went to the ER and was treated for chlamydia and ghannorea. The test came back positive for chlamydia and eventually the pain when urinating went away. However I still had that little bump and just odd itching goin on occasionally. In addition i noticed the opening of my urethra appeared inflamed or "puffing" out would be the best way to describe it. I was retested for Chlamydia and the result was negative.

I was told twice by two different doctors that the little bump was not genital warts or herpes. Anyway heres a break down of all the symptoms i've been having. I told my primary doctor and he put me on Doxycyline for 2 weeks and its been about 5 days and not much improvement. If anyone had any information or ideas i would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Symptoms:

Tiny bump near opening of urethra
Odd itching feeling (not always present though, sometimes it actually feels better after urination)
Puffing of urethra opening
Clear drip (especially after urinating)
And I have had some abdominal pain.

Your treatment for chlamydia should have cured NGU.  Talk to your doctor about doing more tests for a urinary tract infection, prostatitis/CPPS, etc., but make sure you've been off all antibiotics for 2 weeks.

Thank you very much I will definitely discuss this with my doctor. Is there any treatment for these things?

Most likely NGU. other bacteria like to hitch rides along with chlamydia and gonorrhea and unfortunately the antibiotics you were given
may not have been the correct ones to eliminate NGU.

Abdominal pain is what I've experienced along with the other symptoms you've had and both tests for chlamydia an gonorrhea have come back negative. I constantly now have pain in my hips, pelvic region and abdominal with irritation at the urethral opening although it doesn't sting or burn like it once did.

My doctors are at a loss but Feel better knowing that a lot of cases if NGU are caused my mycoplasmas or ureaplasmas. There is no standard test for these instead you'll need your doctor to order a PCR test for you to specifically test for these pathogens. Hope this helps
