Are condoms effective against other STDs as well?

Dear Doctor,

This is my second thread. Earlier one was in HIV expert forum. I am resposting what happened.

After having a beer on 19th Jan 13 in Vietnam (I am not Vietnamese though), I picked up a CSW. While having sex she pulled my penis out to notice that condom had slipped half way or lesser on my penis. (I went soft as I was not enjoying it because I realised I am not made for paid sex. This is the first time I have had sex ever in my life). She put the condom back in place, we had more sex and after about 10 minutes she pulled my penis out again. She and I sat quiet for a while and she then gave a curious look to the condom. She assked me to go to the bathroom although the condom appeared intact. She started masturbating me with condom on (rigorously for a min. The condom appeared intact, but I am a first timer, I could be wrong...?) and then with condom off. She touched the tip of my penis with her fingers a few times while masturbating me. I am not sure if she had any vaginal fluids on her fingers. I put on a new condom and had passive sex (as I would call it) for 5 mins more. I am sure the condom worked well this time because I removed it myself this time. I dont know if the first condom broke or not. Foolishly, I did not check with the first one. It was a Durex latex (kingtex) made in Thailand condom both times. I also did not check the expiry date. I never ejaculated because I never enjoyed. I am uncircumsized.

I quickly washed in running water. I went away.

I have put my body under magnifying glass ever since. Even a sneeze scares the hell out of me. Ever since that night I have felt bug bite itching all over my body, but it is way too intermittent. I am having severe anxiety, I have been told already by Dr. HHH that I am over-thinking. I believe him, but I can't help doing that.

Contd..

I'm sorry your somewhat irrational fears over a low-risk sexual exposure are continuing despite my attempts to reassure you in the other thread.

MedHelp sets a 2,000 character (about 400 word) limit to new questions.  The moderators should not be expected to read interminable essays, and it is inappropriate to continue a question as a follow-up comment.  Therefore I have not read your question beyond the opening lines, and I have deleted the follow- up comment.

Take a look at the thread linked below, which addresses your central question about condom effectiveness for all STDs.  There will be no other reply to this question.
