Bleeding after chlaymydia and gonorrhea swab test

I went in and had my first STD testing, just routine.
The nurse was concerned because I bled on the swab a little.
I was sore and hurting the rest of the day, and bleeding (spotting).
The next day, I was still spotting, but heavier than the day before, however, the pain was gone.
I am not due for my period anytime soon.
Is this normal?

No, they didn't say that anything was odd. They just said that it could be something or it could just be that my cervix is sensitive, and that's why it bled with the swab. I just didn't know if it was normal for it to continue bleeding after that initial invasion.

did they mention anything about your cervix when you were seen - like it seemed irritated or 'friable' or anything of that sort?
