You could get an std, though. Your chances are highest for chlamydia (the most commonCommon cold bacterial std), and you can test for that and gonorrhea at a week. Your chances are much lower for syphilis (test at a month to 6 weeks), herpes (test at about 6 weeks, confirm at 4 months if you get symptoms), and HIV (test at a month to 6 weeks).
