Bruise on the base of my penis

Hi. I´m 21 years old. I just discovered this reddish bruise near a vein at the base of my penis. I recently got checked for all stds (3 weeks ago) and was found negative of all of them. I have had protected intercourse since then but have not gotten bruised, so I have no idea how this is suddenly there. Too much masturbation?? It doesn´t exactly hurt, but I feel like it palpitates a bit. Should I be worried.? please help

If it looks like a bruise, that's probably what it is. Whether from masturbation or something else I can't say. We all get bruises from time to time (arms, hands, legs, etc) from trivial trauma we don't remember. Probably the penis too. If the bruise persists abnormally long or ohters start appearing, see a health care provider. Otherwise forget it.
