Bump on penis head and other questions

I just wanted to thank you frist before writing. I had unprotected sex with a girl about 6 months ago. She was probably high risk. It was the biggest mistake I have ever made.I have this small pin head size bump right down from my penis hole. It looks to be white colored.  I believe the bump appeared 2-3 weeks ago but could have been there maybe for a while. It does not hurt or itch, however, I have been itching around my gentials but, I think this is from me just thinking I have something. The bump has not changed in the 2-3 weeks. I had a blood test done for all the STD's. It came back clear. But I'm still worried.

What do you think this is or do I have herpes? My girlfriend was also been tested about 2 months early and hers came back negitive as well.

Clearly it isn't herpes, which would not cause just a white bump that doesn't change over 2-3 weeks.  It could be almost anything; most likely a normal variant of some sort (sebaceous gland, small cyst, skin tag, a "pearly penile papule", or other things--none of these is at all abnormal).  Conceivably a wart, though.

Bottom line:  You need to show it to a health care provider.  But in the meantime, an STD seems unlikely.  And definitely not herpes.

Good luck--  HHH, MD

It was a thread jump, and anyway the same questions have been covered many times.  Search for "genital herpes", "herpes symptoms", and maybe "herpes diagnosis".

Thank you for your response. From the test coming back negative and your answer to my question makes me feel a ton better. I thought it could be herpes because the blood tests are not all the accurate. I thought that most of the bumps you described don't usually appear on the penis head. The bump I have is on the top side of my penis head and is directly under my penis opening. I will have this checked out like you said...Thanks for being here for us.
