Bumps on Inside top Edge of foreskin

Bumps on Inside top Edge of foreskin

I am 26 years old, not circumcised.  A few weeks ago I noticed a cluster of raised bumps on the top inside edge of my foreskin, if it is not retracted, they are near the top, on the inside.  I have had protected sex all of my life...but, a condom broke a few months ago. These bumps are very small, and I have one cluster of them, a few small solitary ones as well.  They do not appear to be changing and growing, however a few more may have appeared, or perhaps its just that I am looking for them. My question is, do these sounds like warts?  What should I look for to determine if I have a problem? How fast to they grow?  I am very worried about his because I am not a sleazy person, I have had 4 sexual partners my whole life and this is starting to really worry me.

Welcome to the STD forum.

The only STD that could possibly cause "bumps" like you describe is genital warts.  There really isn't enough detail in your description for me to tell whether warts are likely or not.  I suggest you see a health care provider and get a professional diagnosis.  If you choose to wait, you could look for more bumps, and for some of them to enlarge and become more obviously wart-like. But you could end up waiting for several weeks, see no change, and still not know for sure what is going on.

In other words, you're going to have to seek professional care about it somewhere along the line.  You may as well do it now.

As for not being "a sleazy person", that is irrelevant -- even if it turns out you have warts.  Genital warts are equally common regardless of personal hygiene, income, education, lifestyle, etc.  And they are plenty common in people with 4 lifetime sex partners.  Anyway, warts are generally a trivial health problem, are treatble, and don't last long with appropriate management.

Feel free to return and report what is found after you are examined.  Until then, don't make this a bigger deal than it is.
