It is rare to acquire any STD by performing cunnilingus. And when STDs infect the pharynx, they almost always are asymptomatic--that is, STDs rarely cause sore throat and to my knowledge no STD has ever been reported to cause "fleshy bumps" (or any other kind of bumps) in the throat. Almost certainly you have a garden-variety respiratory virus, unrelated to your October oral sex events.
Good luck-- HHH, MD
Oh yeah, the Doctor prescribed me with pencillin for my Pharygitis infection. I would have thought that the bumps on my Oropharynx would have subsided by now.
Your doc presumably thought you might have had a strep throat; there is no other valid reason to prescribe penicillin. However, the most likley possibility still is a virus--in which case no antibiotic (penicillin or anything else) makes any difference. You should confirm this reasoning with your doctor, however. Either way, still no reason to suspect any STD.
