Bumps on Penis

A week and a half ago, i noticed to small bumps on the shaft of my penis. Both were skin colored, but one had a larger area and the other protuded a little more. Neither of them hurt, itched or released any liquids. They were hardly visible when i stretched my penis. I did apply vinegar to the area to see if it turned white, and it did. I am not sure if this clearly indicates HPV. My main problem is nervousness. Im a teenager who has never had sex tho,but i am still worried of STD transmission. After seeing the two bumps, i began to recall the events of the week leading up to the emergence. I remember that i had been extremely stressed out, had allergies, and practiced very bad hygeine. I also remember that at school, the urinal overflowed and a few splashed of water might have touched my penis. The night before the breakout, i had masturbated and slept for only 4 hours. The next day at school, i had this major itch for about 5 minutes, then it was gone. I am afraid it could be herpes, but i've never had sex nor do the bumps hurt. Since my other concern was HPV, i recalled events that happened months ago. During this time, i had been swimmming frequently and since i had morning and afternoon practices, i failed to really clean my swimsuit very well. But the only time i ever really got close to even touching another persons genitals was when i tried on a swimsuit after my father. I did ask him about the bumps, and he said he had never had them. Its been almost two weeks now, and i have been applying zinc oxide to the area . I haven't went to a doc. The zinc oxide seems to ha

If you haven't had sex, you don't have herpes, HPV, or any other STD.  No STD ever is transmitted by sharing bathing suits or underwear.  Whatever bumps or other symptoms you may have, they aren't an STD.  Period.

Good luck--  HHH, MD

have stopped the growth of any more bumps, and the area seems to be flattening out. The bumps seem to be disappearing, so i have not went to a doctor. Do you have any idea if this is an STD? Do i need to contact a doctor, because i really do not like to? And if it was an STD, how did i happen to get one when im a virgin?

Although there are a very few, small percentage where STD can be caught in a Non-sexual manner, i doubt this describes you. I think what your noticing are normal penile cysts. Relax. If your so concerned, see a doctor, and im sure he will re-assure you that your okay.

good luck

Now i've started to notice some skincolored goosebumb-like marks on the head of my penis. I am not sure if they have been there the whole time, and im just paronoid.I have read online that vinegar turns the warts white. So if i was the apply it to the area and see white, would ths definitely mean i have warts?
Or does vinegar react to any skin abnormality? Also, The bumps on the shaft have become like a donut shape but not spread anywhere.
