Burning Inner Groin

In the crease and wrapping around a little under my scrotum my skin is sensitive and at times burns a bit. There is not any noticeable bumps, cuts and hardly any redness if any. I am trying to figure out if its heat rash, jock itch, or std related.

I am a man and had protected anal sex 6 weeks ago with no other symptoms. He claimed he was clean. At 5 wks I took an IGG HSV2 test and it was Negative.

Any advice? I'm paranoid as is about stds and check myself thoroughly everyday for any signs.

Would you think there is any need for further STD testing?

If sweat caused the sensitivity best to us diaper rash ointment or jock itch cream?

No STD causes such synmptoms, including herpes.Probably nothing abnormal going on.   Everybody's groin itches sometimes, especially in skin folds.
