Burning Mouth

I had oral sex with a man and the next day my mouth was burning I went to the doctor he prescribe nystatin I used it for 4 days and brushed often, but my mouth is still  having this burning sensation.  the doctor said he sent a swab to the lab but what ever he check for it came back negative.  What else should I be taking cause this is driving me up a wall what should the doctor have prescribed.

no std causes a burning mouth the next day.  

sometimes just dry mouth causes the burning. there are otc mouth lozenges you can buy to help moisten your mouth.
