Burning in tip of urethra

I am experiencing some mild and pretty constant burning in the tip of my urethra when I am not peeing. I had a new partner over the weekend. I'm not noticing any discharge, rashes, or sores. It doesn't seem to be burning during pee, just when I'm not. Does this sound like an STD? What else could it be?

Hi, Since the irritation is at the tip it would appear its an injury from the act itself. Symptoms of std,s appear about a week later and mostly consist of white puss discharge, burning while urinating or sores that develop in the genital area.
