Burning sensation while urinating

I am 39yrs old and I was diagnosed with Chlamydia and treated for it a couple of days ago.  I am not sure why there is still much soreness in urethra, because even though it has only been 24hrs since I took the one-shot medication, and the burning sensation is not as before, I am concerned with the fact that it still burns some.  I was done a test in my penis that involved a sort of q-tip through my urethra, and it hurt and bothered a lot at the time!!  Could I still be sore because of that too.  I have never had any STD up to now, and just feel really disoriented and lost on the matter.  Please help!

I too was diagnosed with Chlamydia, and treated (Tuesday) 2 days ago. I still feel the burning sensation at the tip near the opening of the urethra. It is much less intense than pror to antibotics. I am only gussing here, but sems that thiscould be normal. Thats why the 7 day wait is so important.
