Honestly, I don't know.  Thrush isn't an std, and is out of my scope.  Post in dental health for more info.

Yes, it could be tonsillitis, but that's not what this forum is for.  If you have questions about that, post in family medicine.

Yes, it will.

Take the meds - your doctor prescribed them for a reason.  Its not going away without the meds, right?

You don't even have symptoms of thrush.

Amoxicillin won't cure thrush, and if you have had a diagnosis of something that you need antibiotics for, you really need to take them.

ok this is kinda a multy qwestion ok 1 i called my mom to schedule a doctors appoitmeant and she said its becuse i never took my ammoxicellian  but can swollen tonsils left untreadted turn into thrush will this amxicillan help the thrush go away?  but i read online from alot of sources that thrush can becaused from hiv so if it is when would it show up? and in the last qwestion i was asking that wouldant you have to have an oral thrush infection in the mouth for it to spread to the troaht and tonsils

Are you talking about an std infection, or HIV?

HIV wouldn't give you infected tonsils, and its not likely that an oral std would give you symptoms.

My guess is you have a cold or other respiratory thing or allergies.

ok and also one more thing i never had any other infection from that in my mouth so dont you have to have it in ur mouth first for it to spread to ur tonsils?

there is no reason to suspect hiv from these symptoms. sounds like you have a viral upper respiratory infection of some sort. I assume you've followed up on this with your provider since you mentioned being tested for strep and it's negative.  If it' sbeen more than 2 weeks since you were seen - don't hesitate to go back again if you aren't getting better.
