Call from the Clinic

Hi all,

I am jsut after getting a call from the Clinic in the Uk where I recently got tested from HIV and STDs.

The nurse told me that they found something in my throat that needs treating and if I could come first thing on Monday morning.

The nurse did not say to me what they had found. I am terrified that this is there nice way of telling me I have HIV-

Does anyone know what STD they may find in the throat that needs treating?

Thanks for all your help and reassurance.

they wouldn't be telling you that a throat culture was you testing + for hiv.

it's unfortunate that you didn't get to talk to them. really all you can do is wait and contact them monday. it could even be a non-std related throat infection too.

I assume they did a throat swab?
