Can Anyone Help?

Do Herpes have to be near the penis? I recently has three bumps pop up in the area where my pubic hair is.. No where near my penis. They look like pimples and are not close to each other. I popped them and applied Antibiotic Onintment to them and they seem to be doing fine.. There is No drainage, no pain, or itching.. Could this be Herpers or just ingrown hair.. oh I also do trim the area but never shave it.. Thanks for the Help

my guess is if they look like pimples and act like pimples guess what, we get pimples in that area they are likely pimples.  To be sure have a professional look but i doubt it to be herpes blisters........have not seen any myself that look like pimples they look like blisters.

Actually, you can get outbreaks in the pubic hair area, but its not as common.

They could well be ingrown hairs, but it would be a good idea to get it checked out.  Herpes is not always painful - in fact, 90% of those who have it don't know they do because they either get no symptoms or get very mild symptoms.

Only about 10% actually get the big painful blisters we always associate with herpes.

Thank you so much.. There are no bumps near or on the penis just high up in the pubic area almost where the hair end in that area. Im figureing they are just ingrown hairs.. Plus im sure if i were having an outbreak I would know it.. from the sound of it, it sounds painful and very noticable. Thanks so much for your help.
