Can I transmit HPV after 3.5 years

In October 2007, my gnyo said my pap smear was abnormal (mid-grade with a few white spots on my cervix) and sent me to have colposcopy, which came back negative/clear for anything being wrong with my cervix. The next course of action was to have pap smears every 6 months until I had 2 in a row come back normal. I had my 2 pap smears and everything was fine and normal.

My question is, do I still need to tell my future sexual partner about my HPV history?

have you asked for repeat hpv testing?  A pap typically just looks for abnormal cells, not actual hpv infection. If you are concerned, ask for a hpv test specifically from your cervix, not just a pap test.

No, I see no reason to. HPV is fought off by the body and with 2 clear paps, means you no longer have it.
