Met a girl recently and after going for HIV test we had unprotected sex but few days later I started feeling itching urethra then white discharge followed. When I contacted a phamacist he gave me 4 tabs of azithromycin the things seems to be clearing. I have had no unprotected sex with any woman for over 10 years and just had sex with my wife but we have both been faithfull till I got involved with this lady. She tells me she had sex last with her boyfriend more than six months ago. she has no symptoms at all in fact she is ok, am just wondering where I could have got it but we have had no problem with my wife now seven years. could it be that she is a career so she has chlamydia but do not develop any symptoms, she is just ok. I fear if she is she might reinfect me. please advice.

Your wife would not have it for seven years and not know it. You either got it from this new women (most likely situation) or your wife has also been with someone else and you got it from her (less likely).

You have to tell this women to get tested from chlymida and gonorrhea. Also if you had sex with your wife since the time you had sex with this other woman and until 7 days after your medication was finished you have to have her get tested also.
