Can a urine std test for chlamydia and gonorrhea detect both vaginal AND oral infection?

Can a urine std test for chlamydia and gonorrhea detect both vaginal AND oral infection? I recently had a test and they were both negative...but I have had a sore throat a lot (but I also have bad sinuses and allergies). Thanks.

P.S.  Oral infections are not as easy to get as genital to genital contact.  So, you are probably having issues with your sinuses/allergies.  'Tis the season!

That's a good question.  I would think that you would have to have a throat culture to test for oral std's.  But I could be wrong.
