Can gonorrhea come back on its own?

by Starlove84, Aug 06, 2009 04:43PM
I have been tested and treated for gonorrhea back in 2007. Since then I was tested for std's in January 2009 and all results came back negative. I was just tested last week for stds and my result came back positive for gonorrhea. I have been with my current partner for two years and has never slept around on him. My question is can gonorrhea come back on its own? My partner says he has not been with anyone. Thank you for your time

Sorry, but no.  Once gonorrhea has been treated and gone, it is gone unless you get reinfected.  He needs to get tested and have him show you the results.
