Can yeast infection move from vagina to rectal area?

Dear Doctor,
Few weeks ago I had recurrent with  my UTI,so I prescribed myself with antibiotics (urotractin)for 3 days . After that, I had white-thick discharge and I had pimple-like sore on the tip of my clitoris and two more under. My clitoris is swollen ,itchy and really hurt .My left and right pubic area is  swolen and hurt too. I went to doctor and he said it was yeast infection. He prescribed with something to put into vagina before sleep at night ( for 5 nights). But after taking for 2 days, I had my period coming, so I stopped taking it and started over after my period is done . The discharged is gone now, but I still feel itchy on my vagina and even on my anus. Most of times I'ts like something crawling inside my rectum and my vagina- back and forth. But when I check it out with mirror, its nothing. Is it possible that the yeast move to my rectal area and coming back and forth to vagina?Sorry if it sound silly , but I really feel that way

Hi there -

The discharge you feel is from the meds.  Its messy, and icky, but its totally normal.

The pink might concern me a little, but it might just be really irritated.  If its still there by the time your doctor comes back in town, you should follow up.

To bookmark, I would just add it to Favorites or Bookmarks, depending on what browser you use.

To find it again, you can also click on "my medhelp" at the top left of any page, and you can see all your posts there.  :)

Aj please help me again. I went back to doc 2 days ago because I had a bad irritation inside my vagina after having sex.And my vulva hurt when touched -the same place like when I had yeast 2 weeks ago. This time my vulva is not swollen, just hurt but no sore .Doc prescribed me with 'Gynofort - butoconazole nitrate'- vaginal cream with applicator and using one time only. (The last time he gave me bullet-form vaginal cream for 5 days in a row. ). After taking gynofort  , the next 2 days I had discharge all day long and sometimes it leaves "Pink mark" on my panty .My irritation is gone (I think ) since I dont feel any thing inside. Discharge is only little know but pink mark is still is . It's not my period time.   Aj. do you know what it is? I cannot phone my doc right know ,he is out of town. Thank for your time

You can't have an std if neither you nor your husband have had other partners.

You might still have some irritation from yeast or something, and need to follow up with your doctor.

need your opinion again. I dont feel itch anymore these few days, but when I'm having sex it really hurt especially on the opening of my vagina, kind of tight for penetration. I dont see any bump nor anything, but become red and hurt after sex. I'd never experienced like this before.
What do you think it is? me and my husband never have sex with anyone else.but from what I read in this forum, my symptom sound like std.

I've done papsmear the last time I went to doc and the result is negative . He said the little red bump I had before didn't looked like herpes too -so he wasnt suggesting to do herpes test. I  have active sex with my husbandy but he doesnt have the symptom.  I will seek another doc if this thing wouldnt stop.
Thanks for your time

I would stop using the alcohol.  It can cause more irritation, and can kill off the good bacteria you have that would keep the yeast under control.

If you are still symptomatic, you need to follow up with your doctor.

Need your opinion again.
after my medication with yeast  is done, I still felt itch  around my vagina but there's no any discharge. I went to doc twice and he gave me kind of medication cream to rub around my vagina, but it turned out I became allergic to any cream because each time I put it on, my vagina became even more itch and skin became irritated. So I stop the cream, instead I  put on 70% alcohol -though it really really hurt when alcohol touched the skin.  But the itch gradually stop in four  days now,  still feel itch once in a while. What do you think cause the itch and do you think continuing  on alcohol gonna give me another problem?

Thanks for your info, I really appreciate it. I'll get rid of the vermox idea.   You're right about shaving, I just read some articles about it too- - I had mine shaved out all the time ,thought it would be more clean and healthy.

I wouldn't self treat with anything, and if your doctor saw nothing to indicate a worm infection, you shouldn't take that.

Shaving can spread whatever you have.

And no, never have sex with symptoms.

I'm planning to take medicine for worm, like vermox 500, is it help? I've been calling my doc and he advised me to soak my vagina with some herbal remedy . I shaved it out. It is itchy all over the skin and inside too. Is having sex ok with this condition? Thanks for your concern

It is possible but you wouldn't feel it the way you describe.  You should follow up with your doctor since you are still having symptoms.
