Chlamydia For More Than A Year or other STDs? - What Should I Do?

i will try to be as specific as possible. hopefully some experts can help me here. First of all I'm sorry for my bad english.

Basically, i got chlamydia about 13 months ago. I got obvious symptoms like burning sensation inside the penis and white puss discharge from the tip of the penis. I got treated by a doctor with docycylin. The white puss discharge stopped and the burning sensation also stopped after about 4 days. However, I still suspected (at that time) that the chlamydia was still there because I felt occassionally I had some very small amount of fluid/water coming out of my penis. unfortunately it looked very different with the white puss. this time it just look like some "urine leftover" if you know what I mean. The color was transparent like water . the problem was, this "small amount of fluid/water" happened very rarely and I couldnt feel anything everytime it happened. Basically, I wouldn't notice the symptom at all unless I keep my eyes checking at my penis.

I told my doctor about all these but she believed that it was more of an "urology" problem, like I had some physical injury inside the urethra or something, because to her it did not make any sense if the chlamydia was still there. According to her, assuming the bacteria was resistent to doxycyclin, i should have still had the white puss discharge. why the white puss discharge stoppped? why the "urine leftover" only happen occassionally and at a very random time? Those were her arguments at that time. so i just believed her.

I did not get any blood or urine or PCR test about this because the doctor did not recommend any test. I just moved on. I never get any other symptom like pain or burning sensation. The only symptom i ever had at that time was just the occassional "urine leftover" i mentioned above. but again, like i said before, this discharge happen at a very random time. I dont know when I will have that "urine leftover" thing, i just dont know. I check my penis like 20 times and only 1-2 times i will be able to see the discharge.

but i chose to move on and ignore this symptom and just chose to believe with my doctor. let's move on with the story. fast forward to last week. So basically last week (1 year and 1 month after my treatment for chlamydia), I finally felt something else. My left testicle felt a bit of pain. It felt like a bit discomfort. Until today I still feel it. As I'm writing this question right now, I still feel it. at first i ignored it but yesterday (sunday) i finally get back to my old habit, keep checking my penis, waiting for the discharge to happen. and yes, it happened at 8 PM, out of nowhere. i urinated at 7 PM and one hour later i had this "water discharge" coming from inside my penis, just look exactly the same with what i described as "urine leftover" above. just the same. this time i used my phone to take the picture of the discharge.

the next day (which is today), i quickly went to the same doctor i visited last year. I told her all the story above and showed her the picture. i also show her my penis for her to diagnose but unfortunately at that time there was no discharge at all so it looked just like a normal penis. However, she tried to judge from my picture, and she assumed that the chlamydia or gonorrhea or gram bacteria or whatever might still be present. she gave me an instruction letter for the laboratorium test to get every culture test. I think they are gram positive, gram negative, gonorrhea, and microorganism, and all the bacteria resistencies for all these bacterias. So i went to the lab and get everything tested.

Now the problem is, I have to wait for 1-2 weeks to get the result. I cannot wait 1-2 weeks. it's too long. I feel the pain of my left testicle and I want it to stop now. I do believe the testicle pain is due to untreated chlamydia or gonorrhea or whatever. Not really "untreated" because you guys know by now that I have taken doxycyclin as prescribed last year, but i just know the disease is still there. It cant be another infection because i never have sex anymore since last year.

So what I did was, i went to different doctor, and told him the full story. he then told me to just get a IGG/IGM blood test for chlamydia. I showed him a link to website on my phone where in other countries we have NAAT screening for chlamydia but apparently my country does not have it yet. The only tests available are the blood test or PCR test. PCR test cost a lot of money so this doctor recommend me to get a blood test. I have not yet taken the IGG/IGM chlamydia test because it was already late. I will take the test tomorrow morning. According to this doctor, he said actually i dont have to wait for all the culture test from the previous lab. if my IGG/IGM test confirm the chlamydia, i can just take another medicine (different than doxycyclin) and see if it cure my pain and symptoms.

at the moment im extremely confused. I will still most likely take the IGG/IGM test but then what? what should I do next? should I wait until the culture tests to find out the bacteria resistencies? or should I just take the second doctor's recommendation and just take the pills and see if it helps? because if it does not help, i can just wait until the culture test reports come out.

The issue is, i dont want to wait because i hate this pain/discomfort on my left testicle. i know it can be another problem and not STD, even my second doctor told me it's probably another problem caused by something else (such as gym training), but I dont want to wait for 2 weeks before I know it's not caused by STD. It's too long. i even protested the first lab and asked them i dont want to wait for 2 weeks but they said there's nothing they can do to speed up the process. :(

i just know the left testicle pain is caused by chlamydia or gonorrhea or similar problems. i check various sources on internet and they confirm chlamydia might cause testicle pain.

Hi firstly the urethra does have a clear mucus that can come out when milking it checking for white puss but bottom line without white puss there is no infection. Also the bodies natural immune system would have cleared up and chlamydia on its own in a few month never mind a whole year. I think your anxiety has come back as you mentioned youve gotton into your old habits of checking again.
I agree with the doc that said its most likely an injury pain in your testicle from working out, riding a bike or even sitting with your legs crossed.

hello life360_dave, but the doctor herself told me that the "transparent puss" might still be a symptom of STD, so it's not 100% ruled out. hence why yesterday she told me to get a culture test

by the way, the injury in testicle is a bit too worrying. last night i was not able to get much sleep because of it. I probably need to do a bit screening? i dont know

and i dont understand why you said bodies natural immune system would have cleared up chlamydia on its own. I have researched a lot about this and most websites say "if left untreated chlamydia may cause infertility and others". I do not think chlamydia can be cured on its own, there's no information about this except some forum posts

anyway so today i went to the urologist and explained everything. he checked my testicles and he said that they looked and felt normal. but then, he told me to get ultrasound screening. i dont know if it's called ultrasound screening in english but basically the screening test to check if there's a problem inside the testicles.

unfortunately, the screening room did not operate anymore at the time. they told me to come back next friday before 12 PM because tomorrow is independence day here. I will get my ultrasound screening done next friday for my testicle.

Actually the urologist told me that (according to my story) he believe it might be something like blood vessels infection - which might be or might not be caused by STDs. so it's not 100% ruled out yet.
