Chlamydia/Gonorrhea levaquin?

by dgrt2000, Jul 05, 2009 05:34PM
So I had unprotected sex with a woman about two weeks ago.  I got symptoms that resemble chlamydia or gonorrhea (frequent urination, weird feelin in the tip of my penis) so I took levaquin 750mg tabs once a day for five days.  Is that enough levaquin to knock out either of those stds?  I'm still gettin the urge to urinate frequently and now I'm wondering could it be some kind of bladder infection?  Any help is appreciated greatly.

We do not assist with self medicating.  You need to go to the doctor and get proper testing.  You could have a UTI.  That is not std related.  Taking antibiotics unnecessarily and improperly can cause you to have other problems because they kill good as well as bad bacteria.  Check with your local health department or planned parenthood for recommendations for free or low cost confidential std screening.
