Also, consider seeing a councillor to stop the pattern, or don't get drunk anymore.
Did you find out what is causing left groin area tenderness?
Stupid acts happen once. If it happens more than that, its a pattern, and if you don't like the pattern, one would wonder why you are still doing it, especially since it makes you so nervous.
It might be related, it might not be. Unfortunately, you are now going to have to go through another round of tests. From receiving oral sex, you could get NGU, gonorrhea, genital herpes type 1 and syphilis. You can test for gonorrhea and NGU now, and syphilis at 6 weeks. Herpes can take up to 4 months, though many develop antibodies sooner than that.

In early June I contacted you regarding unprotected sex I had with a female during the last week of May 2008. During the last week of July 2008 (two months later), I took a full STD screen for HIV, Herpes 1 and Herpes 2, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C and the tests were negative for all.
On July 29, in another stupid act, I received unprotected oral sex from another female. On August 5, I noticed that I had a swollen lymph node (I think) in the left side of my groin (upper left thigh) which was slightly red and tender. Over the last week, it has slightly decreased in size, but is still visible and somewhat tender and I am a little spooked. Other than paranoia (i.e. nervousness), that is the only symptom I have. I do not have any lesions or rashes (other than mild eczema that I have always had) or swollen lymph nodes in other areas. It has only been a week since the swollen lymph node has suddenly appeared -- do you think this is STD related or perhaps from some other infection?
No, if your tests are negative, nothing can resurface in a few weeks or months because you were never infected to begin with. I was just saying that you cannot rely on symptoms alone to determine whether or notyou have an STD. IF you had an infection, you could remain asymptomatic for a long time and acquire symtoms later down the road. However, if you are negative - you are negative, and this will not happen.
Well that is good news then. I just called my doctor and he said 99% certainty with detecting chlamydia or gonorrhea with the urinalysis.
But let me ask you this -- if this test comes up negative, are you telling me it could resurface in a few weeks or months? Should I take another urinalysis in a few weeks/months?
It's a good sign that you do not have discharge or pus, but STDs can remain asymptomatic for a long time.
I misunderstood (I thought you had more of a general test done). If you had a urine test done for chlamydia and gonorrhea, the tests should be very accurate.
Thanks for your response. 6 days later from the incident, would I have most likely had a discharge of pus or blood by now if I contracted chlamydia or gonorrhea? I have had neither as of now.
What is an "actual" chlamydia and gonorrhea test? Blood test? I thought STDs could be tested through a urinalysis according to my physician.

It was a good idea you got tested since you had unprotected sex. I wouldn't say a urinalysis is a good way to judge whether or not you have an STD - the actual chlamydia and gonorrhea tests are the only way to know. Also, it might be a good idea to get a full STD screen, especially since you presumably have unprotected sex with your wife. However, herpes blood tests could take up to four months to show a positive result. And while you probablly did not acquire syphilis or HIV during this exposure, testing probably would not be a bad idea.
Good luck,
Em
