My doctor told it was highly unlikely I have an std since as a part of my yearly check up (10/28 ) I had a normal blood panel, and a normal white blood cell count of 6.0 (range 4.5-11).
He said if I had an infection like an std, that my blood panel would reflect. Do you know if this is accurate?
I ended up running out of lube and used baby oil during my last sexual encounter on July 3rd. The condom didn't break. Do you think that this puts me at risk? I started having mucus in my stool around the end of August, which is why I'm concered.
The urine was tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia. The results came back negative. Do you think that this is enought testing since I am gay, and have anal sex? I've always used protection. So I would assume my risk is low.
You will have to see what they tested for.
My urine test came back negative. I was not sure if this would pic up all infections.
No they are not, you would need a urine test or swab test.
