Chlamydia help...

Ok, so I had some symptoms of chlamydia a few days after I had unprotected sex. (slight burning during urination, slight clear/white discharge, itching) I took azithromycin (1500mg / 6 pills total) over the course of 5 days. At first it got better but didnt completely go away. Then about 9 days after starting treatment the burning has come back and the discharge is worse. Is it possible that I didn't get rid of it? Is it normal to take this long to get rid of chlamydia? HELP!

It could be either or both or neither. You need to see a Dr and get tested yourself. She might have had a false negative (rare but possible). Did you receive oral sex? if so it might be NGU.
