Chlamydia or gonorrhoea from oral

Hi there,

I have had a couple of unprotected oral encounters (male receiving from female) and was wondering how likely is it or otherwise that I could contract either gonorrhoea or chlamydia in this situation?

To add, my last unprotected oral encounter with someone of unknown status was 18 months ago. I do also have a long term partner. At the start of this year I had a dull ache in my testicle region accompanied with urinary frequency which dissipated after two weeks. This past week I have had a feeling of wetness at the end of my penis as well,as two instances of clear odourless discharge and a feeling of,not having fully voided my bladder

I have read so many conflicting statements regarding this, some saying that the risk is small enough to be negligible to saying it is very possible

Thanks in advance!

I would say that unprotected oral encounters puts you at a moderate to low risk.  Your partner would be at more risk than you.  Your symptoms could be other things like a simple UTI (yes men can get them) prostatitis, or even urethritis.  If you think you are at risk then I would make an appointment or stop by a clinic and get tested.
