Chlamydia resistence or reinfection

hi, i was diagnosed with chlamydia more than 3 years ago., both took the medicine and got negative results, but i tested positive last year positive (i tought that maybe he cheated), took the medicine and i didn have sex againg with my ex, took two more tests and they came back negative

Now i have a new partner and we have always use condoms, the point is that i was tested positive again.


Do you think is the same chlamydia i have had, a reinfection  even if i was protected o maybe the bacteria has managed to live in my sex toys??

Im thinking that maybe the other tests were false negatives

the bacteria won't live on your sex toys. Be sure to always clean them properly with soap and water and store them in a dry place. If they are plastic and the plastic starts to break down, time to toss and replace. Glass toys can even be thrown in the dishwasher.
