Colonoscopies and HPV

If sex toys transmit HPV, how about scopes in the colonoscopy procedures on people with anal HPV infection?. Is it not something to worry about? Researches have proved that many colon cancers are assosiated with HPV...although they have not proved how. They should not do colonoscopies with some prophylaxis to avoid anal HPV spread to all the colon?

Hey, thank you for your replay. You may have missed the words "on people with anal HPV infection?" That is, if they are infected in their anal canal (for sure) and they perform a colonoscopy on them....aren't they infecting the patient further?

the equipment they use is properly sterilized in between patients with hospital grade sterilization techniques.

sex toys at home are a whole different thing.
