Morning,
I recently had protected sex outside of my relationship last Wenesday and my wife told me as of last night that she has a yeast infection, or what she thinks at this point is a yeast infection. Now as for my protected event, it was with a female and I saw no signs of lesions, I have had sex with her before and have never gotten anything. She hasn't had sex for about 9 months and is to my knowledge free of STD's with the exception of gential herpes, which my wife and I both have. I am on Valtrex so that is not really a concern for me. The condom stayed in tact. My wife was on antibiotics about three weeks ago,but she did not take all of her medicine, it was for a throat infection or something to that effect. She states that she is bothered by latex condoms, but it was a day later that we had sex ( my wife and I) so that shouldn't have bothered her right? Bottom line... could I be the cause of her yeast infection or what appears to be a yeast infection?
