Confuse

I been with my boyfriend for a year and never cheated on him. Before we first had sex I got tested back in november for all std's everything came back negative. I had unprotected sex  and started showing symptoms of itching, and pain a week after I went to the doctor and found out I had trich. I call my partner and informed him of what I had he went to the doctor and got the treatment, he wasnt tested. I had sex with my partner at the ending of december to beginning of january and had no symptoms of nothing. I had another test done in april because i wanted to be sure I had no stds even if i didnt show no symptoms of nothing. The test came back negative, I had unprotected sex with my partner and found out he cheated on me and the one time he cheated the condom burst. I went and got tested again for any stds because I was showing symptoms couple days after having unprotected sex  with him. The test came back positive for trich again. I infomed him of what I had and this time he went and got tested. He had a urine test done and a culture test done and both his test came back negative also the woman he cheated on me with told him she was negative for trich. He never saw her test results or anything and I found out from him that she was pregnant by him. I dont know whats going on because I know I didnt cheat on him so I would like to know how is it I was positive for trich and he wasnt?
