Confused about Chlamydia and strange symptoms after risky exposure

Hello there, first I want to say thanks for all tje info on the site, it has helped a lot this last couple of weeks. Ill try to keep it short...
Im a 26yo male and about two months ago I engaged in some rubbing, touching with an escort (high risk individual?), we did not have sex but I gave her oral using a dental dam. After that event I felt like I was going insane... researched every STD outthere and it seemed that as soon as I read of a symptom, I got it. Guess the mind is as powerful as it gets. Had itches, tingling feelings all over but no sores, ulcers, etc.
After that you would think I learned my lesson but three weeks ago, silly me engaged in same activity with another escort. The difference is this time we shared a sex toy (anally) but changed condoms every time it passed from one to another. Three days later I felt a swollen testicle.
Went to an std specialized doctor who did some tests and said I had Chlamydia. What confuses me is that there was no intercourse and the toy was carefully used... he said I had this long before this event but Ive never had sex without a condom. Now Im freaking out I may have something else... Been to the same Dr about four times showing him every pimple and little thing I can find. He says nothing seems strange to him and that I should stop obssesing over nonsense... I get tingly feelings in my testicles now and then and my pubes itch but nothing out of the ordinary. Last Thursday I finished a ten day course of antibiotics and dont know if some symptoms can persist or if my mind is still at work...
Should I keep on testing for herpes, etc, or am I over worrying? Would herpes show up by now or am I still at risk? And finally is it likely that the Chlamydia was there before any of my encounters, and does it explain my symptoms?
Thanks for any answers it will really help to get my life back on track. Anxious wreck at the moment.

Ok thanks. Ill go to a different doctor since now Im mostrusting the one I first consulted. Well I did touch her all over but didnt rub myself on her. She touched my anal area but not my penis. Couldnt I get herpes from feeling her up and touching my thighs afterward? More confused now thinking of a false positive...thanks

There is such a thing as a false positive and it would have to be that. With herpes you need rubbing genital contact even to be at risk and if no genital sores at the time the risk is close to zero.

Hi thanks for the quick reply. He did a swab test on my urethra. Could it have been a false positive? He said I had epdydymitis because of it. The herpes enigma is because we were both naked on the events and I thought you could catch it from skin to skin contact... have had ingrown hair problems all over my body since puberty so I freak out everytime a new one is on the rise. Could I catch Chlamydia from sharing the sex toy even though it was with a new condom each use? Or would that have resulted in anal Chlamydia? Thanks.

Hi, if he said you had chlamydia in the penis and you never had unprotected sex is wrong as its only transmitted that way though unprotected sex and not by oral sex. None of what you mention would be any herpes concerns. What test did he perform for the chlamydia?
