Confused

Last month towards the end of my period, I began to have itching in my vaginal area. A few days later, I was so swollen, it hurt to sit down. I decided to go to emergency room because the pain was so bad I could not wait to try and see my ob/gyn on Monday. As the nurse was taking a culture, she stated that she knew yeast infections could cause swelling but my swelling was the worst she had sen so she wanted to consult the on call doctor. Wjen he came in he immediately told the nurse not to send in culture because it appeared that I had herpes because of the swelling and waht he thought appeared to be bumps/lesions. He prescribed Famvir? to be taken 3 times a day for 7 days and I was to follow up with my dr immediately. I went to see my dr as soon as she was able to see me--approx 4 days later and she took a culture and sent me for blood work, at my request. My dr told me first herpes outbreak was the worse and w/meds (which she also prescribed) last approx 2 weeks. I immediately questioned my boyfriend of 8yrs and he admitted approx 2 weeks earlier when he out of the country, he had a sex with a woman he had known prior to coming to th US--we argued prior to him leaving. Anyway. i have been having this itching and burning although I am still tkaing meds. I have few good days w/o and then all of a sudden itching and burning is back. It has been almost a month and I received letter today that I have Trichomoniasis. Ironically, my period is back to day and same symptoms I felt last month are back today. Could it be I have been misdiagnosed and only have "trick" or could it be both and test for herpes was false negative? I realize you cannot diagnose online but I am only asking because I cannot contact dr until monday and hopefully you can provide me with some info I can take with me.

ok ur clear for herpes, im sure u are. That trichlomasis cuases swelling and burning so ur safe.
