Could my partner contacted my yeast infection?

by philips82, Mar 25, 2009 09:03AM
I recently had a yeast infection and treated myself with monistat, I few days later my partner has had complaints of itching on his penis, not directly on the head of his penis Is it possible that I may have infected him with my yeast infection? I read up on this and I got information to use the monistat cream for him for about how long do you think he should be applying the cream for and when do you think we should see some results if indeed this is a yeast infection?

It is possible that he could have gotten it. If it is yeast then maybe in 2-5 days he would notice a difference. But it might not be yeast. We always say it's better to see a Dr then self treat because you are never 100% sure what it is. Maybe is chlymida? Not trying to scare you but just trying to let you know what else it might be.
