Cramping and Burning Sensation in Testicles
Hi...a month ago I started to experience a sharp cramping sensation in my testicles...it was and still is accompanied by an aggravating burning sensation in my scrotum...I have had no discharge or burning when i urinate...at one point I did feel a slight discomfort at the tip of my penis...
A urine culture was done and came back with e coli...I have only ever had oral and vaginal sex prior to the beginning of the symptoms...
I was first treated with Cipro, then Augmentin and now Flagyl...the severe cramping sensation went after the Cipro but the ongoing burning sensation in the scrotum continues...
I don't urinate often and have no urgency when I need to go...
I am very concerned that I have an ongoing infection in my testicles that might affect my fertility. (I'm 37)...I also have a testicular cyst...
Do you think this is an STD or Chronic bacterial infection...if either why won't any of these powerful antibiotics work?

I am experiencing the exact symptoms as the person above with cramping in the testicles and the head of the penis. There is no discharge or pain during urination. What was the diagnosis of the previous person who posted and what medication is there to rectify the problem.
