"Ironically, the days I have been in his office for a visit, the clear fluid creating my questions is either not present or in such small quantities I can't explain it to him."
This is Murphy's law. This is the same thing that makes your car not make that noise the day you take it to the mechanic.
We do have a doctor's forum here. You can find the link for it on the right side of this page under Related Expert Forums. Just click on the STD link. You have to pay to ask a question- $15 - but if you want another doctor's opinion, then that's where you'd post.

Couple of things...
Thank you for your time and opinion...realizing that it is an opinion. It is appreciated. That's all I'll ever ask for, not diagnosis online.
The site is great and the service is very helpful.
My Dr. is more than a partner, he is a personal friend and has taken more than his fair share of calls from me on his cell. The issue is with me and my seemingly unending questions. I can't call him everytime I have a new one...he sees 50-60 patients during his clinic and does surgery on other days.
Ironically, the days I have been in his office for a visit, the clear fluid creating my questions is either not present or in such small quantities I can't explain it to him.
I realize medicine is practiced and not perfected and that's why it's so aggravating for someone who has many questions and can't stop living / working and run a sample to the docs office for a look see...
Again, thanks for your time...
If the NGU was not responding to meds, yes, you would probably get more noticable discharge. It would at least probably burn when you pee. Sorry I missed that part earlier.
Regarding this site, none of us who respond to you in this forum are doctors. We are not able to diagnose. All we can do is offer suggestions and advice. Sometimes the only advice we can give is to see your doctor. We will make that suggestion especially if you are already under a doctor's care.
Even if you were asking an online doctor, that doctor shouldn't diagnose you. A good doctor knows that you can't make a diagnosis without at least a physical exam, and preferably testing being done, etc.
If your doctor is not responding to you, you need a new doctor. If you took your car to a mechanic, who did some work on your car, and your car wasn't any better after the work, wouldn't you then call the mechanic back up and ask what was going on? If the mechanic didn't respond to you, wouldn't you then find a new mechanic, or at least schedule an appt to see the mechanic?
A relationship with your doctor is a partnership, and a doctor who doesn't answer your questions is not your partner.
And remember - there are only a few of us who answer these questions, and we do it on our own time for FREE. Sometimes I log on and have 25 questions to answer that have been posted in the 5 hours since I logged on before. I do my best. We all do.

I do follow up...but how many doctors do you know that are accessible for questions all of the time. If new things happen or things change or new questions arise you can't just call up and ask. Appointments are hard to come by and that's why forums like this are helpful to some people. People on here that say follow up with your doctor as an answer might as well not waste the time to type that in. Most people are doing that in addition to asking questions of people with similar experiences. Thanks...I have already read that article a couple of months ago.
Do you have any comment on the discharge questions, apart from speculation about the drug effectiveness?
If you haven't read this article yet, you should -

It might cure it, but since you are under the care of a doctor, you need to follow up if you have continuing or new symptoms.
