Did she cheat or was it me?

I have recently been seeing a girl for approx 4 months. We have been having unprotected sex for about the same amount of time. She went to her doctor to get tests done to be givin her birth control and they did a swab on her and did not find anything a few weeks later they did another swab on her and when the results came back they called her in ad told her that she had gonorrhea. Now as far as i know we have been exclusive since we have started  having sex. She told me that her doctor told her that she could of had the infection but not been noticed for months therefore the only other person she has had sex with is her ex. my question is. Is it possible for her to if had the infection all this time without any symptoms or do the symptoms show around the time u get infected?

Chances are if you had gonorrhea you would have had symptoms. I would have also liked the Dr to test you to be sure. She could have had a false positive also.
