Discharge, no pain when peeing

Yesterday my penis started to hurt, at the tip, near the opening. I thought maybe I had rubbed it against the zipper in my pants. The pain would come and go, it was never extremely intense, just a bit irritating. I was in the bathroom and pulled on my penis and noticed a bit of whitish stuff come out of it. I only ever have sex with my wife, and she assured me she never cheated on me. I went to the doc and he stuck a qtip down my penis, worst pain ever in my life, and then told me it would hurt when I  went to pee afterwards. It never hurt when I peed. Also at no time did it ever hurt when I peed even before the qtip swab. The doc gave me 4 white pills, and a shot in my buttocks. He said I need to wait 4 days for the results. The strangest thing is after he did the qtip, a minute later my penis was perfectly fine. No pain, no discharge, nothing. Now about 12 hours later it still feels perfectly fine. What could this be?

your provider obviously doesn't believe that you aren't cheating on your partner - sounds like they treated you for gonorrhea and chlamydia.

at this point, not a lot you can do. should the pain return, see an urologist.

I must also state that I had pretty rough masturbation with no lubrication the day before. Also last time I had sex with my wife was over 1 week before any of this.
