It seems possible you could be right. HSV1 infection in the genitals is mild. But outbreaks are usually more rare than if you had HSV2. It is nothing that is going to kill you so get that out of your mind. Go to the doctor the next time you get a pimple to have it analyzed. Do not pop it.
