Do I have an STD in the mouth??

Today is Sunday, last monday I had a very brief french kiss with a random girl at a night club.. starting from yesterday, I have been having a very dry tongue (I can't describe it very well). Today I tried gargling some salt water and the weird sensation went away for about an hour or two but then returned again.. What could it mean?? Did I get an oral STD? or is it just some bacterial infection or yeast or whatever?? It seems that the situation gets worse day by day.. Anyways, the girl was too easy which is why Im scared that she had an std.

Hi EssMike123,

STDs are very rare to be transmitted through kissing.

If you did not see any lesions or sores in her mouth, the chances of herpes or syphilis are practically zero.

If your symptoms persists, see a doctor. However, really I do not see any meaningful risks from kissing.

Thanks.
