Do I have an STD

by geezy32, Aug 09, 2008 02:50AM
I recieved unprotected oral sex from a female 13 days ago and have been having symptoms of pain in my penis towards the tip underneath the shaft when i urinate. I also have seen very very light spots of blood when i wipe the tip of my penis after i urinate and a soar throat and fever. After i recieved oral sex from the female, 4 days later i had unprotected sex with my girl of 4years. While we were having sex, she made a sudden move as my penis was going down in her vagina and i could feel like i hit a bone or something. right after, i ejaculated and i felt the pain underneath the shaft of my penis towards the tip. But i ignored the pain and again had sex minutes afterwards. After the second ejaculation, pain was still there but not as bad. The next morning i got up to urinate and the pain was still there only worse. A few days later pain was still there when i urinate and i started to develop a soar throat and soar groin on both sides. Not sure if groins are swollen. So i went to ER 3 days ago and was swabbed and treated for std with rocephin and azithromycin and was told results would take 1-2 weeks to come back negative or positive. I really didnt ask many questions like I should have at the time, but didnt know what to ask. Well today im still having pain in my penis, a soar throat and fever, and soar groins.

So my questions are 1)  Is there a possibility that i only bruised my penis while having sex? If so, should i still be feeling pain 7 days later? I would say it has eased up little but still painful. 2) Or is there a strong possibility that Im suffering from an STD like gonorrhea? By the way I have not had any discharge. 3) Could I have gotten the STD of the throat from french kissing the female if she has oral std? Or is this just coincidence that I got a cold at the same time. This is bothering me cause I have to wait till end of next week to find out my test results and let my girl know she needs to go get tested immediately. Please help. Thank you

If you aren't better in a week and your testing you had done at the ER is negative, you should follow up on this with your provider.  It's not likely you picked up a std from oral sex with this other gal but it could happen. they've already treated you for the usual suspects anyways.  Within a week any "trauma" from sex the other night should be better and the antibiotics will have fully done their job if it was something infectious.  Meanwhile don't hesitate to do things like enjoy a nice soak in the tubby or even ice to your genital area as needed for comfort.

your sore throat is most likely just that - a run of the mill sore throat.

So what is the possibility that I got something from kissing her? Because this morning I noticed that I have two small bumps on the inside corner of my mouth. And I forgot to mention when I went to the ER, the doc saw a few bumps on my penis and told me they looked like they were something that started with an m(sorry I cant remember. it sounded like it had two words in it) and it was nothing to be concerned with. So I assume herpes bumps look totally different from what he was calling them to be and really shouldnt worry myself right?

You wouldn't have genital symptoms from a kiss, but you could have genital symptoms from oral sex.

Was it molluscum contagium?  That shouldn't give you the fever, etc., that you had.

And yes, herpes looks different than molluscum.

yes that was the name. Well this is day 5 after i took antibiotics and im still having pain when i urine more so at the tip of my penis. should this still be going on? And the bumps on my penis and inside lip are already starting to fade.

What antibiotics are you on?

You should be getting better, so you might want to follow up with your doctor.

Molluscum wouldn't fade this fast, so maybe you have something else going on.

Everything was stated in my first post, but it was rocphin and azithromycin. The bumps started about 6 days ago. so if its not molluscum, could it be some type of std that wasnt treated by the anibiotics.

Oh I'm sorry - I blanked on that.  :(

It might be herpes - and that's a big might.  Its more likely to be irritation, maybe you bit your mouth, etc.

the thing with these bumps are they have been present for about 7 years. they come and go and heal within a few days. i have taken notice that they come up usually a day or 2 after unprotected sex and i dont immediately wash up afterwards. the bumps im experiencing today look the same as always and with the same reason, i didnt wash up after sex with my girlfriend since i was in some pain. Just like always, they burst open when i take baths and no fluid or puss comes out(even after i squeeze it). before this relationship i was married for 4 years and she never, to my knowledge, showed signs of herpes. so is that i just never passed herpes, if this is what i have, to any of the women in my life or did i just recently acquire something from this rendezvous with this one time thing with another girl. sorry for so many questions. and thank you all for your help. im just trying to narrow done whats causing this pain and if i should go get a herpes test done also while im waiting results for gonorrhea to come back.

Yes, you should get a herpes test done, at least to rule it out.

Its sounding like something bacterial though, but herpes is strange, and you should at least rule it out.

You should also have someone culture these.  Read the post by Can_u_help.
