Do these Sound like Symptoms of Gonno

I was on a trip and hooked up with a girl in her mid 20's. I performed oral sex on her for a total of 1 minute and then we had protected sex with a condom for 10minutes. I took the condom off and she performed oral sex on me for 2 minutes. This was this past Sunday night and on Wednesday I noticed a slight discomfort in my genital area which seemed to go and come. Nothing serious so I just thought I was being paranoid. Then when I was going to the washroom (pooping if it matters) yesterday (4 days after this occurrence), and when I was done I noticed a "small" amount of discharge (clumpy and mostly clearish with a slight color to it) come out of the end of my penis. This concerned me as I have never had this happen. Since yesterday I have been watching for more of this and when went #2 again today, I noticed at the end of my session, a little more came out (all clearish this time which could be mistaken for *** although I have not ejaculated since Monday). If I had discharge, would it be coming out more often and not just when I went to the washroom #2? I will go get tested but I am wondering your initial thoughts of a possible STD? How easy is it to gonorrhea from only a a minute each of oral sex on each other? Thanks in Advance.

Welcome to the STD forum.  I'll try to help.

First, you had protected vaginal sex.  On that basis alone your risk for STD was very low.  Oral sex, even unprotected, is low risk and generally considered safe sex.  Not totally risk free, but a lot less likely to result in infection than unprotected vaginal or anal sex.

Second, your symptoms are not highly suspicious for STD.  It's actually fairly common for men to get some clear or whitish (semen-like) discharge during bowel movements.  Here are 3 threads that address this symptom in detail:

As for gonorrhea, that's very unlikely for several reasons.  Oral gonorrhea isn't common in women; when oral gonorrhea is present, it is transmitted inefficiently -- a possiblity but unlikely; and gonorrhea would generally cause painful discharge of yellow pus, not only with bowel movements.

Since the symptom is new to you, and because it conceivably could be due to nongonococcal urethritis (NGU), which sometimes follow oral sex, it would be a good idea for you to get checked for STDs, as you are planning to do.  I doubt anything will be found and expect any tests to be negative.  But better safe than sorry, I think you'll agree.  Your local health department STD clinic would be an excellent choice for highly expert care.

Good luck--  HHH, MD

I already said "Even if an STD turns up in you or this woman [your regular partner], it probably didn't come from the condom-protected exposure you described in the original question."  That's the same for the oral exposure.  If your gf indeed is "definitely faithful", it is unlikely either of you has an STD.

Let's hold off on any further comments or questions until you and your gf have been evaluated for STDs.  At that point, but not until then, I may have a final comment.

Ok. I feel guilty and the girl that I said I was seeing & the girl that I am not seeing...is the same girl. She has been my gf for a year & a half and she is definitely faithful. I under the other hand shouldn't have done what I did when I went away two weekends ago and I feel terrible.

I have not been STD tested since my encounter 2 weekend ago but will next week as I have an appointment.

Does this sound like an STD that I could have passed to her by performing oral and receiving oral from a random girl while I was on vacation 2 weekends ago.

Again, I have no ongoing symptoms..only the 2 episodes of minor discharge while going #2 to the bathroom.

We are both 28 years old.

Thank-you

Is this the same partner described in your original question?  Or someone else?  A regular sex partner?

All women with unexplained vaginal bleeding, even minor spotting between periods, should be professionally examined.  STDs are among the many possible causes, and evaluation of young sexually active women should include STD testing, especially gonorrhea and chlamydia.  You said above you were going to be STD tested.  Has that been done?  If not, and if you had unprotected sex with the woman who is spotting, do it now.

Even if an STD turns up in you or this woman, it probably didn't come from the condom-protected exposure you described in the original question.

Ok. Final Question

It has now been 1 week and I have no symptoms after that initial small amount of discharge that I have never had before. A girl that I am now seeing told me she finished her period on Monday and today (Wed) had some spotting of blood (in her underwear) when she went pee. She says she never gets spotting and it was strange. I have had unprotected sex with her twice in the last week since back from my vacation.

Should I be concerned? Does it sound like an STD?

Thanks

You have found some aberrant web sources, I'm afraid.  GU and UTI are not the same thing.  NGU is an STD.  There may be rare exceptions, including some cases that are caused by immunologic disorders, with no infection beig responsible.   UTIs are rarely if ever sexually acquired.  UTI is rare in males under age 40-50 (and not very common then).

From what you had said so far, I doubt you have either NGU or a UTI.

To add to my last question above.....

If there is no further discharge or no further symptoms.....would that further suggest that I am just being self-conscious and that NGU is likely not a possibility as well?

Thanks

1 More Question;

You mentioned that it may be NGU. After some online research it says NGU can be transferred also by non-sexual means. Ie: Urinary Tract Infection.

I just stopped dating a girl and we were both faithful. She did have a urinary tract infection a couple months ago....could she have given me NGU?

If I tested positive for NGU & assuming she gave it to me through a UTI, would she test positive for NGU as well?

Thanks

By the way, one of the links goes to a thread in which I said "Almost all men experience this from time to time".  That's not correct.  Many men do so, but probably not "almost all".
