Doc, please help - oral and kiss to a Syphilis guy

Thanks doc for answering this!

I am a gay. Days ago, I had a lot of French kisses with a guy. Then he gave me oral sex, about 10 minutes. Later, before i gave him oral sex, (which means i did not suck his penis), I found a chancre on the glans of his penis. He told me he did not even know there was a chancre. Then i stopped everything. This was no sexual intercourse at all. As you can expect, i was scared to death...........

Now, my question is:

1- what is the chance of getting syphilis?
2- how long should i wait to get tested?

Thanks again!

You only get 1 syphilis sore. You had no risk.
Also I am not a Dr. You have to pay to post to the expert forum.

1. None since you did not give him oral because syphilis is only transmitted with direct contact with a syphilis sore.
2. No need to be tested because you did not have a risk.
