Herpes are a lot more easier to transmit than HIV. You can transfer the herpes virus from skin to skin contact. HIV is primarily transmitted "inside" the body, i.e., having unprotected vagina/anal sex.
The "bumps" you describe on your neck do not sound like herpes at all. Genital herpes predominantly manifests symptoms in the genital area (hence "genital" herpes)
My doctor is determined that I have herpes. But the thing is my viginal area doesn't have any marks. But I have white bumps all over my neck and back. I selomly swear I think my doctors wrong. Herpes has got to be in the parts where you had sex. From what I've read and reread
Hey, I'd recommend that you go see another doctor if you can and get his/her opinion. Try to see a dermatologist.
It is possible that you might have HSV1, which is oral herpes. About 80% of the population has this though, and it's completely different than HSV2, which is the genital herpes.
