Doesn't fit the typical mold of symptoms

While in Asia, I twice had unprotected oral sex (I am a male and received it from a female) that involved a lot of kissing.  I also fingered a girl who happened to be on her period (I didn't know that beforehand).  I got a good amount of blood on my fingers, but I didn't have any open wounds that I could see.  Anyway, I got sick two days after with huge lymph nodes in my neck (and flu like symptoms).  I went to the hospital and they gave me an HIV test (at my request).  It turned out negative, but the doc only gave me a 80-90% chance of being 100% accurate because of the time (the test was so soon after the incidents).  That result, along with the ways I had sex, I feel that its a 100% chance of not having HIV.  I was also prescribed Augmentin (amoxycillin + clavulanate potassium) for my "infection" of the throat (which was validated by my blood results).  I feel that if by chance I had something else, this drug would have cured it.  Anyway, now to my problem... Ever since then, when I ejaculate my sperm barely comes out (almost shooting blanks).  I do not get as hard or stay hard...It is harder for me to ejaculate.  I have noticed redness on my scrotum (mostly near the bottom), but that when separated with my fingers does not appear to be anything like what herpes or warts would be (in fact, the redness goes away when I spread my skin).  I have also noticed much tenderness (as in redness, not sensation) on my penis shaft (especially after masturbation).  I am curious if there are any STD's that might include those symptoms I described.  It has been almost a month now and the only other symptom is that I feel like I have a small growth in the back of my neck... its a weird feeling that I only usually feel when I sit with my neck propped up by a pillow.  I doubt the neck thing has anything to do with anything, but figured I throw it in there... Do you know why I could be "shooting blanks" and not staying hard?  Also, do you agree with my analysis on not getting HIV?... and having Augmentin cure any cureable STD like Clymidia or Syphillus (i.e., NOT herpes or warts).

The sexual dysfunction symptoms you describe definitely are not due to HIV or any other STD; same for the redness of your scrotum (which does not sound abnormal).  None of your symptoms are related to the sexual exposures you describe, except that they might be influenced by anxiety over the event.  Neither Augmentin nor any other antibiotic will have any effect.  This is outside my area of expertise.  You should see a urologist or other physician who understands sexual dysfunction.  But put the STD idea out of your mind.
