Epididymitis

Recently I was diagnosed with epididymitis by one E.R. doctor and now two urologists. I started having pain in my left testicle nearly a month ago and the pain radiates into my back and thighs. I have been on many medications now including cipro and doxycicline but nothing has worked. My urologist hasn't been able yet to tell me what excactly is wrong seeing as the pain will not go away and is now affecting my right side as well. I had a CT scan 2 days ago to see if maybe i had kidney stones or anyother underlying problems, however my scan came back fine. My doctors next best guess is that i have a back injury that may have caused me to get the epidiymitis in the first place. I am having an MRI scheduled now to get this looked at. I know the a casue of epididymitis can be strain and a back injury would make sense seeing as that is where a majority of my pain is but i was wondering if anyone else has heard of this also. If you have any information dealing with back injuries leading to epidymitis comment back please.

Hi, I'm Paul and my right nut started hurting after I did a brake job on a truck at work. my boss sent me to the Doctor, he said I had varicocele. it sounds like you should check this out. I ;ve been going in and out of hell every sence this started 9/4/09 . I am a 40 year auto mechanic and what I 've learned is doctors are like us, some are smarter than others.I ;ve been on these sights trying to figer out whats wrong with me because they can't. It's sad with all the high tech stuff they got they can't figer out ****!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like Elvis, he had all the money in the world and could;nt go out his front gate . with all my hi dollar  insurance they can't figer out whats wrong with me !!!!!!!!!!!!!Paul. ps good luck.
