Has anyone tested positive for HSV 1 at 4.0 or over and HSV 2 at 2.8 then test again to become HSV 2 negative.
Whats is considered negative anyway? I keep reading about false positives and retesting but not yet have I found anyone to say they retested and came back negative.
Actually, yes. Your hsv1 is an accurate result, but you have a low positive hsv2 score, and it could be a false positive. Its recommended that anyone with an hsv2 result of less than 3.5 retest.
You can test again, either using an IgG test, or ask your doc about an inhibition test.
same thing happened to me i was at 2.16 for my HSV 2 test...i took another test 5 days later & i am waiting for the results...i've been praying to god the past few days that its a neg...shoudl i have waited longer ...i am also on antibiotics will that trigger anything in the test?
